As you've probably noticed, Shane company, our once friend in the diamond business, is no longer such. Upon recent changes in their radio advertisement, they removed their well known and loved name in the diamond business and updated it to say "you have a friend in the jewelry business." In addition, Shane company no longer mentions their locations in Gwinnett, Alpharetta and Kennesaw, while also failing to mention that they're online at Shaneco.com. Please support the fight to get the old Shane company back by signing this petition. We don't need a friend in the jewelry business, we need a friend in the diamond business.

The feedback coming in highlights just how much these small shifts in branding affect our memory of the company. It is clear that many people feel the same sense of loss for the identity we grew up with. Behind the scenes I am looking for the right person at the corporate office to receive these thoughts.

Reaching this milestone confirms that many people hold the same nostalgia for the brand identity we once knew. It is clear that the specific connection to the diamond business was more than just a tagline for our community.

That ad forever changed my life.. My husband Shan and I were looking for some wedding rings and we found the perfect one at Shane Co.. We are a happily married couple and we would love to have Shane Co back in the diamond business.
