We, the undersigned, hereby affirm that we support Benjamin Tyson Ours, owner of Styles, in his request for damages to paid for in full by the town of Moorefield. The issue at hand arose due to negligence by the Street Department of Moorefield, WV. During the sidewalk spraying, the department damaged not only the door to Styles, located at 148 South Main St., but also damaged the floor inside, as well as $388.99 (Store Cost) worth of jewelry inventory. Mr. Bierkamp, the HEAD of the Street Dept, arrived to the store in person the day following the incident and assessed the damage. As a representative of the TOWN OF MOOREFIELD, Mr. Bierkamp assumed responsibility for the damages and instructed me to invoice the town office and a check would be written for the damages. The town doesn't intend to pay for the damages. Please sign below and support me in my quest to receive payment for damages to my business, and to my inventory. Thank you, Tyson Ours Owner Styles

The town office keeps stalling and hoping I will just walk away from this mess. I am exhausted by the runaround but I am not going anywhere until they take responsibility.

Seeing this level of support reminds me that I am not fighting this alone. It is exhausting to deal with the town office but looking at how many people recognize this wrong keeps me moving forward.
