We are asking for community support to save Dave’s Burgers Lease, the iconic Lynnwood drive-thru located at 19509 44th Ave. W. We are facing eviction by our landlord in order to make way for a fast food chain. Opening way back in 1990, we have been family-owned and operated ever since. The mom-‘n’-pop feel of the business and the people who have become our “regulars” make this news devastating. Our work and family lives are attached to Dave’s Burgers. Lynnwood doesn’t need another chain restaurant. Lynnwood needs Character, Diversity and Community.
We may be a small location but we have a lot of history, heart and our food packs a big taste! Across the street from the Lynnwood Police Department, Dave’s quickly picked up steam as a favorite lunch spot for officers wanting an old fashion burger and a hand spun shake. 30 years later, Dave’s has remained a Lynnwood staple. We love feeding our customers and being able to also contribute positively to our community. In addition to the restaurant, we also enjoy catering and participating in community events. We participate in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walks, donate to the Lynnwood Food Bank, support local high school newspapers, and have mentored and provided job training to countless area youth.

There are no words to express what your help will mean to the team here at Dave's Burgers. This is a business that has been built with fierce love and dedication by an incredible group of family, friends, and customers that understand and believe in our mission and community. We employ people that live right here in the neighborhood. Saving our lease means saving their jobs and declaring that you believe in the little guys too.
We're the drive thru that still hand spins every milkshake we serve. The burger stand where you’re never turned away because you forgot your wallet or your card was declined. Where the owner knows your order by heart because she’s been working here since she was 15.

This whole situation is because of you and your kindness rather than anything I have done. I am doing my best to contact the landlord to see if there is any way to keep our doors open for the neighborhood.

I have been a patron at Dave’s since it opened , the food is always delicious, the shakes are thick and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. Lynnwood does not need another big chain restaurant- they need to support our local small businesses and show them what a great impact they have in the community.
I've been going to Dave's since I moved here with my family 6 years ago. For us Dave's is a Lynnwood staple and part of the mom and pop home town feel our city is losing with all the new chains. Dave's needs to stay, renew their lease!
Been going here since I was a small kid. My mom used to bring us to Dave's for milkshakes after dentist appointments. It was one the few beginning meals between me and my now husband 13 years ago. Seriously an iconic Lynnwood eatery.
I have been a loyal Dave's Burger's customer almost since the beginning. Our boys grew up eating Dave's burgers. Now they share them with their friends and others in the family. We don't want to lose the food or the friends that we've made at Dave's. Thank You for being part of our lives!
You catered my son’s birthday party! We have such fond memories of that day and all the details you put into bringing Dave’s to my son and his buddies ... I hope you can keep your lease!
