The signers of this Petition oppose CFS,LLC's request to rezone 380 acres in the Town of Russell. The proposed rezone, located within a forested district with extensive wetlands violates the Town of Russell Comprehensive Plan. It spot zones for 44 acres Commercial, along with 247 acres of RRB for high density housing and 78 acres of Agriculture for a business class jet-capable runway. Deny this zoning request or ask the developer to come back with a plan that meets the Town of Russell comprehensive Plan.

I HAVE BEEN WORKING NONSTOP TO GET OUR CONCERNS DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE COUNTY BOARD MEMBERS!! THE PRESSURE IS MOUNTING AND WE ARE REFUSING TO LET THEM IGNORE THE TOWN OF RUSSELL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN!!!

THIS MOMENTUM IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! PEOPLE ARE FINALLY WAKING UP TO THE DANGERS OF THIS REZONE AND OUR COLLECTIVE POWER IS GROWING BY THE SECOND!! THE COUNTY BOARD CANNOT IGNORE THIS GROUND SWELL OF OPPOSITION ANY LONGER!!

Keep the airport away from our wetlands. We dont need more jets flying over our heads at all hours of the day
Town of russell is a place for peace not high density noise and pollution. Vote NO
Ridiculous. Nobody wants a jet runway in their backyard. Leave our land alone!
This goes against everything the town plan stood for. Why even have rules if they just get ignored for developers?
Our wildlife needs those wetlands. Please protect our town from this mess

Greed plain and simple. Stop this rezone now before they ruin the whole area for the rest of us.
