Dog Park Funds from IAMS not properly channeled.
If you use the Seton Park Dog Run you will be interested in this: There is now an IAMs on the gate of the park. This sign was put up by the Parks Dept to advertise IAMS as a sponsor for
improvements to our dog park. This is the result of a
donation made by IAMS to improve city dog parks. But no improvements have been made - the money donated by IAMS is not being channeled through to the dog parks.
We've tried to contact our Parks rep multiple times about our part in
this donation, but have not received any response.
Through other
sources we have learned that most of the funds have
already been earmarked for other dog parks in the city.We could really
use all of the help we can get! The Manhattan dog run Inwoof members have
been organizing to make their voices heard and we think that Seton Park should
do the same. But we need signatures (for petitions) and letters to be
sent to the Parks Department in the Bronx to voice our objections.
Curious what IAMs would think of this. They want good PR, not negative. It doesn't help the Seton Park and doesn't help IAMs. In fact it's negative advertising for a lot of dog owners
