This petition is acting as a centralized collection point of names and details for those in support of basic repairs to the large dog park by the main entrance of the Beacon development. Please sign per person and not per household. Please also include any information around injuries caused by poor park conditions as well as Vet Bills incurred. This is not a formal action against the Beacon- but simply a way to increase awareness as to the scale of the issue and the support behind these repairs.

The volume of reports regarding incidents at the park provides the necessary data to escalate this request to the development board. I am currently compiling these accounts into a formal briefing document to be hand-delivered to the management office by the end of the week.

The dog run is unsafe, lacks amenities for dogs, and is an eyesore visible to anyone driving down the street. It lowers the property value and discourages people from living here. While the buildings are billed as pet friendly, the signs everywhere and conditions of the dog run say otherwise.
This needs to be addressed - we pay additional money for our pets to live here, and they should be treated as residents too. This is just unsafe.
Needs improvement, holes need to patched up, benches needed for humans.
I don't have a dog but it is an incredible eyesore from every angle and it always smells terrible in the hallway and outer walkway.
The conditions have been getting worse.
Conditions of the infrastructure of the dog park are mediocrity at best. It needs to change!

This park needs AstroTurf! There are so many jagged rocks sticking out of the ground that post great risk of injury for pups running around on them.
