She has been forced to move and now lives in terror.Neil Punchard joked with the perpetrator about how she would be frightened when the perpetrator found her. The perpetrator threatened to kill the woman and their two children graphically on multiple occasions.

We are approaching the one hundred signature mark which serves as the threshold required to trigger a formal review of the petition by the department. I have a meeting request drafted for the internal affairs liaison and I need this target reached before I send it to ensure maximum influence.

Signed, to discourage collusion between police and perpetrators of family violence as in my personal and professional experience police often automatically side with perpetrators and women are branded as crazy and/or troublemakers.
The role of police is to provide safety & protection to the community, not to impart private information to alleged perpetrators and comprise victims' safety. This is a colossal violation of the purpose of police, ethical misconduct and an abuse of the power in that position.
I have been through domestic violence and the police are supposed to be there for the victim, not to be a conduit for the abuser to continue to make life hell. This police officer abused his position of trust and should be sacked immediately.
This should never have happened no perpetrators should ever be able to find out where there victims live. After losing my sister to murder suicide there is so much that needs to change and this person should be punished for not taking dv serious.
I am a survivor. Had this happened to me I would be dead. This is a serious breach of privacy that endangered a life possibly lives. This person should never have access to personal information ever again and can't be trusted to protect the public. Fire him.
How on earth could you even consider the possibility of keeping this man on the force after what he did? There is no reasonable justification for doing so. All it would serve to do is to reinforce the belief amongst police and the public, that they continue to be above the law regardless of what they do. What an utterly terrifying proposition. As is, it's an indictment on the force that you are even considering the possibility of NOT sacking him.
and get rid of commissioner. he is providing bad leadership which we hear about every day.

This is sickening, and the fact that a police officer, a public servant, could do this with impunity shakes the trust we all have in our society. Surely firing him is the least they can do - it breaches data confidentiality and is very possibly actual corruption?
