As our schools are being shot up, and politicians are wasting time trying to find who or what to blame for kids killing is mass numbers, we parents are afraid to send our children to school to be educated out of fear they wont return to us.
Well enough is enough! its time for us parents to force our leaders to do what is obviously the only way to protect our kids. SECURING OUR SCHOOLS.
While politicians spend the next decade fighting over the second amendment that will never go away, we could have our children protected tomorrow.
We currently have 6.5 million unemployed veterans who are combat trained, who are waiting for us to come calling again and put them to work.
Well we are calling on you now!
There are just under 100,000 public schools in America. If we put an average of 8 armed guards per school and close up our ways of entrance and install metal detectors our kids are surely to go to school safe again.
How will we par for this? Its easy. If we gave an average wage of 50k a year to each veteran that comes out to 40 billion a year. we have roughly 120 million tax paying Americans. Divide that and it comes out to 333.00 per tax payer per year or $12.82 per paycheck if paid biweekly. Trump just gave average American workers back $1200 a year so i'm sure taking back $333.00 to save our kids lives and put veterans back to work wont be a problem.
Last week Seattle just stole 48 million a year from 600 businesses to help homeless people. That money would have protected both King and Snohomish counties alone. Heck Seattle is trying to get another 200 million for a new park. Just imagine how many schools could be protected for the price of a park?
Stop wasting our tax dollars and SECURE OUR SCHOOLS!!

I really never thought this would gain so much steam so fast but here we are and it just proves that we are all tired of the same old excuses while our kids are at risk. It is wild to see so many people finally agreeing that we have a real path forward if we just choose to take it and honestly it gives me a lot of hope that we might actually get someone to listen.

I have 10 grandchildren in schools and one of my biggest fears is that I could lose them to a messed up shooter. Please protect our children!
This is so needed and WOULD help now! Our future, our children deserve this kind of protection and security.
Can't agree more. We have stadiums with 70,000 fans that are safe because we have security measures in place but we can give 300 kids the same protection is insane.. Thank you for your support and I hope you share this on your page
