We, the undersigned students of Saveetha engineering college, Thandalam, respectfully express our objection to the sudden implementation of the new academic system in the current semester, including batch division, course classification, and the Term I–Term II structure.
This abrupt change has caused confusion, increased academic pressure, and mental stress. We had planned our studies based on the previous system, and the lack of clear information about batches, courses, and evaluation has disrupted our preparation and focus.
We request that the new academic system be withdrawn for the current semester and that the existing system be continued. Any new system may be introduced in future semesters after proper orientation and sufficient time for students to adapt.
We hope our concern will be considered in the interest of students’ academic stability and well-being.

the short duration does not provide sufficient time for learning, practice, and revision, which makes it very hard for students to cover the entire syllabus during examination time. This affects both academic performance and the mental well-being of students.
I don't accept the recent idea proposed on new system of separating students into batch 1 and batch 2 for the upcoming semester. This creates a new tension for students to write 2 semester exams in 45 days gap which is unfair.
Splitting the upcoming semester into term-1(Placement training ) & term-2(SBC & FC) will increase the pressure of students who have completed lesser credits as they cant complete the max of 30 credits as per old system
Not satisfied with this term 1 , term 2 method of learning as we only get to memory the answers for the exams and we don't know a single thing to learn any skill of the subject about why , what , and how to use them in real life applications
I have been planned my career based on the current system. This sudden change leads to change in my plan. The subjects I have planned to take is confused. The upcoming system is so much confusing and it doesn't have time for mu own stuffs.
One subject consistently clashes with two other required subjects. Despite trying all possible slot changes and combinations, the clash remains. This makes it technically impossible to enroll for the full 15 credits. This issue is due to course scheduling overlaps, not due to any delay or mistake from my side. This block system makes the enrollment for required credits impossible and make our progression slow

I didn’t like this new academic system where as I liked the previous one and I feel it is better and it has free sessions and it is so relaxing to concentrate on other online related courses which I have in the coursera platform…
