Honestly, as long as all private parts are covered, pulling someone out of class for a "dress code violation" because their shoulders, backs, or legs are a little too visible is absurd. The distraction isn't in the clothing. The distraction is in pulling a student out of class for no good reason and wasting that student and the entire class's time.

The last I knew you go to school for a education which is Math, English, History, Gym, Art, Science, Computers, Music, Health,Pre AP class, so when did (School code class) Clothes Fashion class start. 2nd when the dress code should go for EVERYONE but doesn't its just for a select few students that get into trouble.

The dress code is a joke. I want my children to be comfortable and not worrying if their shirts are the exact length. It's ridiculous.

I think we should be able to wear whatever we want aslong as it being still appropriate. We shouldn't have girls have to wear boy shorts because it has to be " finger tip length."

I've worn tank tops in class when it was too hot and nobody said a word about it, nobody was 'distracted', work always gets done and people don't care. The only thing this role is accomplishing is making girls uncomfortable with wearing what they want to wear on their own time because they think it makes them a whore and making guys seem like they're incapable of concentrating when there's a girl in the room. We are not a distraction and our clothes are not more important than our education. Stop taking us out of class, stop sending us home, stop making us miss tests and homework because you think all teenagers want to do is have sex.
