Instead of making students feel nad about their bodies, lets teach them about loving their bodies. Times change and so should rules or regulations. Its not 1967.
The dress code is idiotic and should be changed. I mean i live in South Carolina and it gets HOT here but the stupid dress code makes me wear pants outside in 90° heat. Fingertip length shorts look so disgusting and would probably attract more attention than regular shorts lol
It's a struggle for girls to find shorts that is finger tip length especially the tall ones. And why do girls have to wear a shirt that is super long which covers your knees like what's the purpose.
the dress code @ cario, laing , moultrie and all of the other CCSD middle schools is terrible. it stinks for both girls and boys, but they hardly regulate the boys, and the girls are the ones who are usually getting embarrassed in front of classmates. this sucks, and we have been trying to do this for ages.
I shouldn't feel pressured to wear Certain clothes and if I don't then I get publicaly shamed and humiliated in front of all my class mates

Instead of teaching boys to control themselves, we teach girls to hide their bodies. I am a 15 year old girl, if you are sexualizing me, you are the problem.
