The Purpose
The purpose of this petition is to advocate for a change in the dress code. We do not believe that the choices of past seniors, who have left for college determine our dress code. The changes affect our ability to express ourselves through our appearance. It also forces people who dislike certain types of clothing to wear what they don’t feel comfortable wearing. For example, if a girl dislikes jeans and dresses, but loves leggings, they will be forced to either wear a dress or jeans to be slightly comfortable. If it is alright to wear athletic clothing on Fridays, why not other days. These changes limit our comfort levels and expression. For these reasons, we request that you sign this petition.

Do not sign this I want to see my handsome young man in jeans and a nice button down I’m tired of him dressing like a homeless man
I cant wait for the dress code. I am going to dress fancy to impress all the laddies.
if you just correct the spelling and capitalization, this will be more official and it'll be more likely to support it. other than that, i'm all for it!
As homecoming Queen, my desires are greater than yours especially middle schools (*cringes*). I want fancy boys so please do not sign.
If this dresscode was a thing at the beginning of school maybe me and Andrew would still be together.

i find it weird that teachers say dress code is for students to conduct themselves consirvitavly but the students arent the ones who care. its all the teachers who care. so why are teachers so conserned what kids are wearing theyre 30 year old women and men its kind of conserning. no disrespect intended.
