Final supporters
We are a group of residents who live, work and play in Eagle Harbour. We are in opposition to Aquila's proposed development, ( https://aquilaliving.com) ,which consists of 67- 3 & 4 bedroom family homes with an additional 25 homes having suite potential.
This would total ~ 92 dwelling units and, potentially upwards of 200 people to the small community of Eagle Harbour.

I really never thought this would gain so much ground so quickly because seeing everyone jump in like this is honestly startling. My kitchen table is covered in maps and these sprawling plans for the new homes and it feels like we might actually have a fighting chance to keep Eagle Harbour from changing forever.

This area was designed as a single family neighbourhood and does not have the infrastructure to support a high density development. There is poor public transport and no retail in the area. Has anyone considered the extra load on the local school? This is the wrong development in the wrong place.
Eagle Harbour is a small close-knit community where many of the residents live because of that community feeling. The proposed development in no way conforms to this. Far too many people, too many cars and insufficient infrastructure to accommodate this proposed development. I am totally opposed to the development.
A development of this size does not fit, is not true to the intent of the OCP, is environmentally risky and will be a disaster in terms of overcrowding at our small park and beach, and traffic in the area with small children etc
I strongly oppose the Aquila development for Eagle Harbour. The units do not fit the neighbourhood and the increase in traffic would be immense. In the community plan there were 5 areas selected for denser development in West Van, Eagle Harbour was not one of them. Help save the fabric of our neighbourhood, vote NO to Aquila.
I am angry that, after approval was given for 10 homes on this property, this developer is trying to increase the number of extra homes to over 60. In this quiet semi-rural neighbourhood, this additional traffic will completely change the environment. Our little street will become a throughway. PLEASE do not become swayed by additional taxes.
This is poorly planned and should not be approved
The uniqueness of this area is the low density and beautiful topography. It was never meant for high density!?

We have strong concerns about the density being proposed here and are not in support of the number of units proposed for the development. Quarter acre lots for single family homes would be acceptable. Likely that’s 10 or 12 lots with services.
