The proposed developments at Old Park Stables will destroy the ancient route of St Swithun's Way and cause detrimental impact on one of Farnham's oldest natural habitats. We need to preserve our Medieval Deer Park for the next generations.
We just hit 250 signatures and the momentum is building to protect the Medieval Deer Park. Post our link on Facebook today and email your local council representative to demand a stop to this development.

Having lived in Farnham for 35 years, I would wholeheartedly like to see some major improvements to roads, pavements and traffic control before we add to the already cumbersome and increasingly dangerous town centre. Let's not destroy what was a beautiful, bustling and community spirited market town.

Farnham town has contributed to providing housing ,this beautiful old park must be preserved to provide breathing space and maintain our health and well-being for future generations to enjoy as well.

This housing estate would be entirely out of keeping in such a precious rural setting and would set a very dangerous precedent. Old Park Lane is a private bridlepath and unsuitable for the increased number of vehicles. This planning application must be stopped.

The surrounding lanes and bridleways are not wide enough to cope with the extra traffic. Permitting this development will stop the dog walkers, the riders, runners, cyclists and ramblers from enjoying our beautiful lanes.

This development adds nothing to the area and will encourage more traffic in a quiet rural location. It is adjacent to the St. Swithins way popular to ramblers and walkers and is in the historical medieval deer park. When will the local planners take action or notice of the concerns of local people.?

Not only destroying an area of natural beauty, but likely to exacerbate existing traffic problems in Farnham. Waverley should prioritise development on brownfield sites in existing towns, so that new homes don't inevitably mean more car journeys.

Where are the extra school places? Where are the extra play spaces for the young? Where are the extra doctors and nurses to serve the extra people? Where are the extra shops to serve the new residents? Who will pay for the extra deterioration of the local amenities, like the roads? And where are our elected represented officials? Farnham is being over-developed for the advantage of the builders and their directors, not for the people of Farnham.

Farnham needs a bypass first, there's too much traffic in the town already.
