Dangerous is only one factor. The businesses in Brookings can only gear up for one event - HOBO Day or Halloween. Very difficult to be there for both at the same time. Besides, Halloween is about the kids, not stupidly drunk college students.

I am a parent of an 11 year old we reside in Volga. However, we always go trick or treating in Brookings. Hobo day on Halloween is not safe for our young children or the parents driving then around. Most people killed in drunk driver collisions are the sober people.

I am a Brookings resident, SDSU Alumni, and a Teacher with Brookings school district. SDSU needs to take responsibility for the behavior of their students. This is a terrible idea.

This is a huge day for my church to host a ministry for trick o treaters . ALSO, After previous SDSU riots I dont think it's a good idea to put businesses and residences near the "wall of shame " at risk

The college kids are out of control and I can say that confidently as I am a current student. Nothing will end well if SDSU allows college kids to party excessively while children are trick-or-treating.

Mother of two young girls who go door to door on Halloween. If the date is not changed we will be leaving town to enjoy the festivities in a safer community.

Hobo days shouldn’t be on Halloween! Our kids deserve to have a safe evening so that they can enjoy themselves.
