This is a petition to be passed on to our local deputies to vote NO to mortgage tax relief being phased out from 2014. The proposal by deputy St. Pier, states from 1st January 2014 the limit on mortgage tax relief will be £350,000 and then reduced by a further £50,000 every year until it is £0.
We can not allow this to happen, please pass this on the anyone you know and lets get this voted out NOW!
Reaching this level of support has been exhausting but necessary. Seeing so many people recognize the threat these reductions pose to our homes keeps me moving forward against this policy.

One hundred people have signed on to fight these mortgage relief cuts. My hands are shaking a bit honestly because these past few days have been exhausting for all of us involved. We are still here and we are not stopping.

Living here is expensive enough without these changes. Leave the relief alone!

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO AFFORD MORTGAGES AS IT IS???

St. Pier is out of touch with reality. Most people are already struggling to keep a roof over their heads.
