The volume of support has now reached a scale that forces DEFRA to acknowledge our position. I am currently finalizing a formal letter to the department heads to demand a meeting regarding these levies.

No way. Not happening. If they go ahead with this a lot of owners will be forced to give up their horses and then what happens to the animals?
Totally unfair. We already pay for vets and feed and upkeep. Where is all this money actually going???
Enough is enough. Stop taxing the horse industry!
This is just another way to get money out of hard working people. Horses are expensive enough as it is. Leave us alone.
RIDICULOUS. my daughter works so hard at the yard just to keep her horse. govt needs to stop taxing everything that moves.

Another useless tax from people who clearly know nothing about keeping horses. Fix the potholes on our roads instead of bothering us.
