All who have signed this petition are in agreement that no CO testing will take place in any approved workshop across the country until a full independent risk assessment of any long term health implications has been carried out and that there has been sufficient training put in place with a sufficient timescale for all whom are to use the CO spray have completed it.
It in not acceptable to just impose such a test on all approved workshops on such short notice with no consideration to their health.
We would also like full written reports from the major manufacturers of these said CO alarms to be assured that it will have no adverse effects of the sensors within.
Finally we would also like clarification on liability after a CO alarm has been tested if a fatality has happened shortly afterwards.
no Carbon monoxide spay tests shall be carried out until a satisfactory summary of all of the above has been carried out.

im still waiting to hear anything back from the manufacturers about those sensor safety reports. people keep messaging me with their own concerns about the liability side of things so please keep those stories coming in because they show exactly why this is such a major problem.

This test is a knee jerk reaction to poorly made CO alarms. It would be more productive to address the reliability and robustness of the alarm direct with their respective manufacturers.
