We the undersigned demand proof that no toxic dust will leave the site during remediation. Torbay Council must ensure that no work takes place on site without the use of properly engineered, negative pressure tenting over all excavations and movement of contaminated soil.
The works must be monitored by effective real time dust monitoring (both on site and at the school and neighbouring houses). All possible effective health and safety measures must be put in place to protect our community and Preston Primary School.
We urge the Council to fulfil it's duty of care to residents, it's employees and as Local Education Authority to the children at Preston Primary School.

Absolutely reckless. I live right next to the site and the dust is already getting everywhere. Unacceptable.
My kids go to preston primary and it terrifies me to think they are breathing in toxic dust every day. Do better for our children.
How can they even think about starting this without proper tenting? Its just pure greed over health.
Sort it out Torbay Council. You have a duty to keep us safe.
Linden Homes need to stop cutting corners. Safety first for the residents please!!!

Fix this now. Kids health is not a joke. Real time monitoring is the bare minimum.
