We the Undersigned residents of Fort Smith respectfully request that the changes to bylaw 855 making it bylaw 886 specifically the section that reads: 3. No owner of a property shall allow his or her property ((or the area between the property line and the road)) to become unsightly land as defined in this By-Law. The grievance against this is due to the non uniform nature of the gamut of property in Fort Smith, the large variance in plants, rocks of varying sizes and depth of drainage ditches shall prove to be a hazard to the lay person and landowner and to the landowners personal lawn car devices. The undersigned respectfully request that the Town of Fort Smith return to the former policy in regards to maintenance of vegetative growth in the portion of land that a between a property and the roadway.
