Avrey Joseph Rose passed away on April 2. He is receiving his high school diploma for the hard work and effort that he put in throughout his four years while attending Noblesville High School. The school is, however, refusing to call his name on graduation night. Please sign this online petition so we can hear Avrey's name on June 9th. He more than earned it.

One hundred people have signed to demand that Noblesville High School stops erasing Avrey. The administration needs to understand that we are not going to be silent while they ignore his accomplishments.

2 seniors from my school died this past summer and their names were said at graduation and their families came up and received the diplomas. Both him and his family deserve it.
Seriously, how much of an "inconvenience" is it for you to say 1 more name. As a parent, if I were in the same situation, it would mean a lot to me emotionally to hear my childs name called for something they earned and deserved even if they are not there to hear it and receive their award/diploma.
I think it is heartless for them to turn their back on a student, who clearly, gave a lot of his time to be a part of his school! Shame on you, that is a healing process for every one of his classmates who have to go through this day without him! He deserves his moment on that special day!
I am a friend of the Rose Family and knew Avery all his life. If he worked hard and earned his diploma, he deserves to have his name read along with his classmates. Please reconsider. Thank you.
Very disappointing, heart breaking and just nonsense. Avrey deserves the recognition his family deserves it. He was two months from graduation when a community lost a son, brother, friend, and a Noblesville student for his entire life. Do what you would want if it was your son or daughter...Say his name..."Avrey Rose"
He earned it. What a wonderful tribute to his life to read his name at graduation
He worked hard to earn his diploma. Even though he may not be here, he still earned it.

Seriously, what would it hurt to say this fallen classmate's name? His classmates lost one of their own, so close to graduation. Do Avrey, and them, the honor of recognizing his work. The family has lost enough. Don't let them lose this too!
