By not saying his name, you are stating that his time at school, and his life, wasn't worth mentioning. This young man EARNED the right to have his name called. How hard would that be to do???? He is going to be in the hearts of his fellow students, let's acknowledge that his life was worth mentioning!!!!

Seriously, what would it hurt to say this fallen classmate's name? His classmates lost one of their own, so close to graduation. Do Avrey, and them, the honor of recognizing his work. The family has lost enough. Don't let them lose this too!

I can't believe that educators in our society today would be so cold and lack compassion. I would hope other parents in this area realize how this impacts them also.
