this is where i socialize, where i get work done, where i connect and meet members of my community. it's my home away from home. if consenting adults willingly walk into a shisha establishment knowing the risks, and they do, that is their choice.

Hookah is a part of tradition of the Arabs and the Muslims. Banning them is not an solution. Keep it available for the consumer who are adult and aware of the risk if any, like the cigarette smoker. By banning it government will make it illicit and will loose revenue.

Shisha is a long-lasting, historic tradition for many families and cultures. Bussinesses will be greatly affected by this ban. Also, when has shisha ever intoxicated someone. Alcohol is a bigger problem, yet that is legal.

I have been a frequent visitor of hookah lounges for over four years. These establishments have shown immense quality and utmost adherence to laws and regulartions . This recommendation is a slap in the face of good, honest, and hard working Torontonians who have ran successful businesses for many years.

shisha medeterian culture and it doesn't affect more than fast food in the big companies like McDonald's and it doesn't have affects like Pepsi or coke. Are you guys going to ban McDonald's too since its unhealthy too. That's too much.
