I love smoking shisha, ottawa has banned it, and now we have to either drive to Montreal or to Toronto to smoke. It's a huge cultural thing and even more than that because it's for anyone. People go to have fun and enjoy themselves. It's just wrong to take that away, on top of jobs and businesses that would be lost.

When you drive 5 hours from ottawa to toronto to have some good shisha. If cigarettes can be smoked in public outside so should shisha. If weed is about to be legal so should shisha this is culture. And we are not harming anyone.

There is no reason to ban shisha for everyone it should be age restricted and that's all it's just as bad as cigars and cigarettes yet white people are allowed to smoke these, this is a part of our middle eastern culture

This is flat out discriminatory against a culture. Shisha a is a lot safer and cleaner than cigarettes and e-cigarettes. This ban is ridiculous and shouldn't be allowed to continue

I think banning flavoured cigarettes is enough. This will affect jobs. Shisha bars only cater to 18/19 plus aka knowledgable adults.

The majority of those who enter hooka-lounges very well understand the risk associated with the inhalation of tobacco. Proposing the ban in my opinion is a good idea as it informs the masses of this health-risk associated with tobacco, but following through with it is unethical as it has been apart of middle-eastern tradition for eons. Might as well bring back prohibition if we are so concerned about what is affection our health as alcohol related deaths in Toronto is just as a big a problem.
