The city officialized the new provision and live music will continue at Rocket Market. This win belongs to all 119 of you who demanded we keep our neighborhood vibrant. Keep showing up to these concerts so they know we value this space.
We, the undersigned citizens and voters support outdoor live music concerts at Rocket Market, 726 E. 43rd, and other venues like it. We believe live music enhances our community by bringing families and neighbors together. We agree with Spokane Police Officer Max Hewitt that there is a need for a provision in the laws to allow for outdoor music.
The feedback from neighbors has been consistent and honest about why these concerts matter to our community. I am currently working to coordinate a meeting with city officials to discuss the legal changes proposed by Officer Hewitt. Email your city council representative today and tell them that you want live music to stay at Rocket Market.

Used to go here all the time. Such a shame they might shut it down.

My kids love going to the market on saturdays. Music makes it so much better than just another boring errand. Please keep it going.
