London Midland are planning to close 9 local rail station offices permanently in the West Midlands area and drastically reduce opening hours at other stations. 96% of local stations will be affected by this damaging cost cutting exercise, despite the company receiving over £260 million in public subsidy since 2007 and continually increasing fares. 130 station staff jobs will go, altering the quality and choice of the service you receive.
