The changes that Southern have already put in to place have changed the Gatwick Express for the worse.
Now Southern and DFT are planning to put ticket gates up on platform 13 & 14 at London Victoria and also at London Gatwick airport and remove the revenue staff from the trains; not only meaning we as customers will no longer have the option or conveience to be able to buy our tickets on board or have the assistance and safety we PAY for available when needed. This also means a loss of two thirds of the Gatwick Express on board staff.
Please show your support and wanting for the Gatwick Express - especially with the London 2012 olympic games approaching this service and its staff are a must!
The feedback regarding the proposed staff reductions and platform gate installations has been substantial. I am currently documenting these concerns to present directly to the department for transport. Your contributions remain essential to ensuring the quality of this transit service.

Keep the staff on the trains! I rely on them for help with my bags when i fly. Machines can't help you when something goes wrong.

Leave the staff alone. They do a great job and make the journey way less stressful.

Ridiculous to cut staff right before the olympics. The service is already getting worse and this will just be bedlam for tourists.

The price of these tickets is high enough already. We should be getting better service not less staff.
