I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the momentum behind this and I never imagined so many people cared about the future of Oak Street. This is entirely because of you and the effort you put into getting the word out. Thank you for showing me that our neighborhood really does have a backbone.

i have lived here 20 years and its just getting worse. please stop this project.
Oak street is perfect as it is. stop tearing down history for profit.
this is honestly crazy. the streets are too narrow for a 13 story building. just think about the delivery trucks alone.
NO MORE HOTELS! The traffic on Oak is already a nightmare on weekends. Why ruin the only nice street we have left?
keep it historic. we dont need another glass box blocking out the sun.

Chicago is losing all its character. leave the esquire alone already.
