This is a petition signed my students, parents and teachers of Cincinnati Public School. Petition is written to save a qualified dedicated teacher, Jay Hess of Cheviot School. We are part of the 3rd largest district in the State of Ohio, which should be focused on an environment for inspired learning but get lost preforming testing and certification of teachers. We have forgotten the importance of teacher dedication. Our Board is serving shirking population of 35,000 students because we are busy building Schools, we have forgotten that without staff that truly love teaching and have the gift to inspire students our building is for nothing. The administration of Cheviot schools has gotten lost in survival skills to protect their job. Stop the insanity of school administration retaliatory behavior at student expense. Letâs get back to the books with a gifted teacher who focused on student learning. This petition is to remind you we are here to learn! We love gifted and inspired teachers that are qualified, dedicated and truly love students. Thank you for Iâm a student in Cincinnati Public School and Mr. Hess taught me the importance of education, freedom of speech and the evaluation of history and how we learn from our mistakes.
