The Fulton Area Business Alliance (FAB) and the Pratt Area Community Council (PACC) are assisting F + S Tires, and a Department of Buildings hearing for the violations is scheduled May 16. Please join Council Member James and advocacy agencies in supporting F + S Tires, who perform a vital service to the Fort Greene community.

The Joseph brothers are genuinely overwhelmed by all the messages left here because they genuinely didnt expect anyone to notice the doors being locked at F + S. I have been running around talking to the folks at PACC all morning and it is just wild how much red tape is involved in keeping a neighborhood shop open after twenty six years.

I really never thought we would see this much momentum for the shop and it honestly makes me tear up a bit seeing how many people care about the Joseph brothers being treated fairly. It is just so wild to think about them having to deal with these impossible costs when they have been such a staple on the block for years and I am just so glad people are finally noticing.

These guys are staples in the neighborhood. They have helped me out of a jam more times than I can count. Leave them alone.
26 years of service and this is how they get treated? Absolute garbage. The city just wants a fancy condo there.
Brooklyn isnt what it used to be when you start pushing out all the people who actually built these blocks. F&S stay!
Fixing stuff is what they do. Stop trying to run them out of the borough.
Ridiculous fines. They are good people and honest business owners.

I been going to the Joseph brothers since I moved to Fort Greene in 98. They are the heart of the street. Keep them open!!
