Dayton Christian schools (DCS) mission to glorify God is demonstrated by its exemplary faculty, faith based academics, athletics and administrative leadership. The aforementioned are reasons parents choose to enroll their students and become a part of the Warrior family. As in a natural family, we realize everything won’t always be pleasant, peaceful nor perfect. However, when challenges arise, the family that prays together, stays together. We hope that God would hear our payers concerning retention of the Dayton Christian Schools elite Warrior Football Program.
The DCS Football program coached by Mr. Ken Moyer transitioned from a team attempting to find their way into a team that not only discovered their way but has learned how to win at the game of life on and off the field. Coach Moyer and his staff devoted endless hours giving of themselves, and sacrificing time from their families to develop meaningful relationships with our sons. Their level of expectations often exceeded the expectations of parents, which is indicative of the coaches’ sincerity, commitment and dedication to be Godly men equipped with wisdom and knowledge for God's will to be fulfilled. Securing the 2015 Miami Valley Conference Championship, confirms the value, asset and necessity to have an opportunity to continue the legacy.
Pursuit of continual dialogue to request reconsideration be given to renew Coach Moyer’s contract and retention of existing coaching staff, is imperative to our school, students, faculty and parents. Most importantly, may God be glorified, pleased, magnified and exhausted in all that is said and done.

I just saw the counter roll over to one hundred and I am honestly kind of shaking because I didn't think this many people would get behind the coach so quickly. It feels like such a huge weight moving forward and I really hope the school board finally starts paying attention to how much this football program means for our boys.

I just looked at the count and we are just hovering right under a hundred which feels like such a weird place to be because I know we have way more people who care about Moyer than that. If you can just bring in just one other person who respects how he changed the program that would get us over this bridge and really put us in a better spot for when I take this to the desk of the administration.

I just checked the count and I cannot believe how fast this is moving toward that next big mark of 250 signatures. If everyone who already signed just pulls one more person into this loop right now we will show the school board exactly how many of us are standing behind Coach Moyer.

Bring Coach Moyer back because he taught us how to come together as a team but also as brothers. Also because he has had a great impact on my life he had taught me how to be a better young man and become closer to Christ and because he has pushed me to work harder in the classroom and keep my grades up. P.S. Bring back his coaching staff as well
DC is very fortunate to not only have someone with experience at the college and professional level, but also someone with a proven track record at getting results and caring about the kids. Losing him would be a major loss to the school system and a major setback in DC's athletic program.
Coach Moyer and his staff have been instrumental in the spiritual, emotional and physical growth of our grandsons. Coach Moyer is an invaluable asset to the DC system and a tremendous mentor to young men. Please do everything in your power to retain the Coach and his staff.
Coach Moyer was offered a contract that significantly reduced his pay, doubled his teaching schedule and removed his ability to control the funds he raises for football. He turned down that contract for obvious reasons. He has never asked for anything more than a renewal of his existing contract.
If DC truly "cared for" our kids and wanted to really "partner with parents" they would see the huge, devastating impact losing Coach Moyer would be. Let's show the kids and parents what you really mean by the phrases you use so often! Keep Coach Moyer!!!
I am signing this petitions because football is not just a sport, it is a great learning tool for life! It teaches young men discipline teamwork sacrifice and leadership skills necessary to compete in life!
2015 was my first year playing varsity football and JV as a freshman. I love this team. The games we went through, the bus rides, the practices, everything. Coach Moyer leaving will potentially end the DC football program and I don't have a better sport or school to go to. Football is the best sport in my heart and I hate to potentially see it go because of a coach leaving. I love my team and I love coach Moyer

Ken is the role model young men need in following Jesus. I've known him since 2000 when he was chaplain of the Cincinnati Reds and recruited me to be chaplain of Dayton Dragons. Whatever you have to do, keep him. You can't replace men like this!
