As some of you already know the tower arms is closing down to be made into a house. 'So they say'

The owners have decided to give a heavily pregnant landlord and her family 2 weeks to get out ( coincidently her due date.)

The way he has acted is disrespectful and ignorant.

MONEY OVER MORALS

We have decided to try and get enough signatures to TRY AND save this from happening.

We all want to help, not only for the pub but would love the managers to be able to stay where they have built not only an amazing business, but also a loving home.

WE WILL ALSO CONTACT THE GAZZETTE.

LETS TRY AND MAKE A DIFFERNCE.

The amount of support rolling in is overwhelming and honestly a bit draining to process. It is exhausting to see how much work remains but knowing so many of you care about this family keeps me going.

To see this pub go would be such a shame! It has developed so much over the years and holds a lot of memories. I was a pupil at St Peters school, worked at the tower for over a year and visited many times for drinks so personally I would be very sad to see it go! Save Tower Arms!! Summer won't be the same without it!!!!!!

Community pubs are essential in small villages and communities and are what helps tie it all together.

It had been a great pub for years, had my first job there as a waitress, it would be such a shame for it to be turned into a house

It seems harsh to give a heavily pregnant lady and family 2 weeks notice though.

This is a land mark! A great place to spend time with family and friends. I take my girlfriend here, My nan here, my nieces, nephews..... To lose a place like this in our area just for someone to drive a better car would be criminal!!
