My wife and I have lived in Blanding Meadows for over 6 years and have found these officers to be nothing short of outstanding. Professional, personable, and caring, these officers respond in a heartbeat with calming authority.
Makes no sense to disband a well functioning department that was created to save money and provide good service to all areas. The goals were successfully met and the safety of the residents of Northern Berks should not be jeopardized by disbanding the department
Many times have I as a kid growing up had contact with these police. They DO help, they DONT deserve to be disbanded. The council NEEDS to listen. I fear for my family living in Shoemakersville when there’s an emergency & no ones there to help til the damage is done.
As a business owner in Leesport, I have always been extremely impressed with the the officers as well as the leadership of this department. It's a shame that cancerous infighting is having this effect on this great department.
I disagree with dissolving the Northern Berks Regional Police Department. Residents voices were ignored during the meeting on 11/09/2020. This needs to be a public vote not the vote of three people who aren’t considered the wants and needs of the residents they serve.
I support the new chief and with his experience will do an outstanding job in maidencreek township

Having been assisted multiple times by members of NBPD, I am strongly against disbanding the department. Response time from other departments could be very costly to the members of these communities.
