The Council is still trying to sweep the closure of our dispatch center under the rug while they shuffle numbers in the dark. Their silence proves they know this plan is a betrayal of our public safety. We keep the pressure on them until they look us in the eye and explain why our security is for sale.

This is about saving money but at what cost?? My family likes knowing someone local is picking up the phone.
WRONG MOVE. Keep it local.
Ridiculous idea. County dispatch will just mess it up and people will get hurt. Quit cutting corners with our safety.
My husband works for the borough and this is just crazy. They do a great job and they know exactly where everything is in an emergency. Dont take that away.
Keep our local dispatch. We need people who actually know the town and the streets when we are in trouble.

Been living here 20 years and we need our own dispatch. Do not disband this office!
