The city officials think they can quietly scrap this bus stop while the people who rely on the Food Centre lose their only way to get groceries. We are not letting this happen and I am currently demanding a formal explanation for this reckless disregard for our most vulnerable neighbors.

I volunteer every Monday evening at the community meal. Well over half of people coming to the dinner rely on the bus. When buses don't run on holiday Mondays, attendance at the dinner drops significantly. This illustrates how important the bus stop is in front of the Local.
I don't always have access to our vehicle so I then use the bus to go to the program offered here where I can take my son who doesn't walk so it's nice that it's right there. Keep the stop please.
I have a newborn and will be going to events and classes at The Local. I don't always have access to a car and would be using the bus to get there. Don't remove this stop!!
As a volunteer at the local I see the importance of the bus in getting people there for the excellent life-giving programs they offer. Mothers with babies, seniors, teenagers, etc. Removing the bus stop would have a huge impact on the people getting to the local.
This bus stop provides a link to vital community services especially for the people who don't own cars and can't afford taxi services. The programs at the local are a boon to our community don't cut access to this wonderful organization by leaving them off the bus routes.
Save this stop. It's important. So many people use this stop and I'm one of them :)

My parents are elderly and use this service several times a week. They can't walk far and after involved in several different events happening at the local. Moving this stop would greatly affect their lives in a negative way.
