This is a petition primarily for parents, caregivers and concerned citizens, directed towards the Eastern School District, information for busing in response to recent changes to school busing for students travelling to and from Kenmount Terrace and Larkhall Academy. Specifically to move the current stop FROM Great Eastern/Caribou intersection TO Caribou Place/Plover Street intersection. We propose a change in the existing bus route. The current route is a serious safety concern for the children in the area. KNOWING the number of kids in this specific area of Caribou Place and Plover Street and considering how young they are, we are asking for this route to be revisited. PLEASE reconsider and have this bus driver stop at the Caribou/Plover intersection (as he did up until Sept. 26th, 2011) where it is SAFER for our young children.
