I'm proud to be from the south I'm proud of the family members that died and should be remembered and respected. It may be a different way a living here in the south, but it's a different way of living to have southern pride. It's our right as Americans to fly that flag....it's freedom. And it's not right to take this away when our country allows so many other flags to fly with pride.

The momentum behind our request to protect the Confederate flag in DeFuniak Springs continues to grow. We must maintain this intensity as we approach one hundred signatures to ensure our local officials acknowledge the strength of our position.

Why should non natives want to take down our flag? An attorney here from Tallahasse is trying to remove it, it has never bothered anyone in this small town. The liberals are dismantling this nation. Stop them!! Heritage, not hate!
I am a combat wounded veteran. Removing the confederate battle flag would be no different than taking down our beloved american flag. It is a part of our heritage, a part of our country. Do NOT remove this confederate battle flag.
I would love to see this flag stay it IS my Heritage Being born and raised in Walton Co. I never thought in a million years that this would happen, it's Not HATE,Its HERITAGE it's My HERITAGE and the Miller family Heritage.. I love That Flag!!

Please allow the flag to remain in place. Don't allow the wrongful act of one individual to represent thousands of people who have done no wrong and view the Flag as a Memorial to the brave men that fought and gave their lives in the war.

This Flag is History, not Hate. It is a part of the fabric of this country. If we remove everything Politically Incorrect to someone, The entire country will be dull beige in color. What happens to the Civil War battlefields. take them down, ?? I think NOT !
