Praying for all the victims. However the flag had nothing to do with it. This flag stands does not stand for racism in my eyes or those wanting to keep it up. If all would listen peacefully to both sides we might would be able to get somewhere.

It is a symbol of cival war heritage and not hate it represents what our country and its people can over come in time when people stop raising their children to hate maybe we as a whole can move forward and focus on more important issues such as homelessness

I am in no way shape or for racist, but this flag holds true to my heart. when people say the flag stands for hate and encourages racism, that's just like saying guns kill people, no. People kill people. It's all about the way you look at it. Some people stare at a gun and think "murder weapon," and others (many) look at it as protection, or survival tool, or hunting necessity. Just like the flag, some see racism, but many others, just like me see pride, heritage, history, and bravery.

it hasn't caused a problem as long as it's been there. Why now? Removing it does no good, it's just gonna make more problems. I guarantee this isn't the first "racial war" and won't be the last. Taking down a flag isn't gonna make anyone any more or less of a racist.

The Confederate flag was a battle flag and a flag for the separate states that fought over rights against the government not slavery so get your facts straight and quit being so Damn ignorant and racist because you are not any better than the rest of us .
