I am a south Louisiana resident KEEP THE CONFEDERATE FLAG FLYING
This flag does not represent racism... They were plenty of African American confederate soldiers who fought willingly under and for this flag..
I don't see the big deal ,it reminds me of great southern music & one of the best TV shows ever.

The flag should be kept because it is part of US history. Hate it or love it, it is history. Nobody salutes it like the American flag nor does anyone honor it in song at sporting events, national events nor at military funerals. Sons and daughters of Confederate Soldiers have a right to it. More white and black people have burned ourAmerican Flag when I was in Viet Nam and not one person of any race ever burned the Confederate flag; so it is my opinion that this flag offends no one.
