The local council has officially restored the traditional bell ringing schedule for our church. I am grateful to the 875 individuals who supported this effort to protect our town heritage. We will monitor the situation to ensure these historical customs remain undisturbed.
We have a lovely church in Baldock whose bells have been ringing out for more years than any current Resident of the town. 1 person complains that they ring too often, too early and too late and they manage to get the Christmas Day traditional bell ringing of six bells at 8am service stopped!!! What a disgrace. Everyone you talk to in Baldock loves the bells, even people who live near it, obviously apart from this 1 miserable person.
They have also managed to get the times changed of the clock bells chiming from 7am to 10.45pm to 9am until 7pm.
Leave our church bells alone, they were here long before you moved into the town, if you don't like them then MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!
The petition has reached five hundred signatures. It is clear that the community values the tradition of our church bells and wishes to see them restored to their original schedule.

Ridiculous. My kids wake up to those bells every weekend and they love it. Some people just love to complain about everything.
