im honestly blown away by how much this has grown in such a short time. seeing so many people rally around our greenbelt proves how much this land means to all of us.

i have been spending my evenings reading through the comments and its honestly heartbreaking to see how much this land means to everyone here. we are currently putting together a formal brief for the planning board because they cant keep ignoring us forever.

Springwell is a village, which needs to be surrounded by fields. The village is already a danger spot for traffic, and as a member of the Bowes railway, a Scheduled industrial monument which needs protecting from development such as this.

Opposed to develoment on this greenbelt land as >100 houses have already been recently built nearby. This is a disaster for the local environment and will add to current traffic problems. There are plenty of brownfield sites available for construction of houses.

Refurbish all boarded up houses in run down areas and build on brown field sites before building on green belt. How dare the Council sell our greenbelt for housing. The land belongs to the local taxpayers, we do not want houses built on this land.

The Village is conjested with traffic now new developement on the proposed site will be disasterous. What gives Hellens chief executive the arrogance to tell the residents of the Village what is in his opinion good for the Village.

We residents have already absorbed 100 new houses readily within the village as it was brownfield but 300houses on green belt will destroy the the village style community. Which attracts people to live here. This development will turn us into another urban sprawl

I have lived in the village for six years and adjacent to it in Eighton Banks for twelve years. I and my family would be devistated if the area was developed into an extention of urban concentration, destroying our village way of life.

Springwell is an oasis in the area given over to so much building. Keep it green and reduce traffic in a village never built for as many vehicules.

I moved to the village for the green areas which me and my dog love walking in.
