Ramona is officially allowed to stay and the city actually updated their rules which is just honestly the best news ever. I keep looking at her sleeping on the rug and thinking about how those 429 of you stuck with me through all the angry emails and phone calls (my …

Please help us take a stand against breed discrimination in the city Boyden. We shouldn’t judge anyone on two legs or four based on looks alone.

I was looking at the total count just now and saw we are almost at two hundred fifty signatures which honestly makes me want to cry (in a good way) but we really need a final push to get over that hump before I send this off to the council office.

I have a rescued pit bull of my own! Best dog I have ever owned. Smart, loyal, and loving! Please don't judge a dog by its breed!

Dog are part of the family. Lossing a dog would be devastating for children. It's bad enough if it's an accident. But how to you tell them it because some people don't like your dog. We try to teach our children to love all God's creatures!

Dogs are not born viscous. They learn it from ignorant people. I have plenty of friends with pits or pit mixes. They are responsible owners and their dogs reflect it. Judging a dog by it's breed is as ignorant as judging a person by their skin..

I have known the Hoogendoorns and Ramona for years and she is a very sweet, well behaved dog. I have never seen her be vicious or cause problems with anyone.

I know this dog personally she is like any other dog who barks at people. Many dogs in town run all over our streets & thats ok. Unfortunately Ramona lives next to a vindictive neighbor. Loosing your cool & screaming at a child is totally unacceptable as well.

On a leash should be the rule....... Not the breed! It's no different than discrimination against a race or religion of a person. What wed choose for pets is our own decision, as long as we abide by leash laws and use common sense.

At least now we get a chance to stand up for the Dog. When I was a kid they would walk the Dog down the tracks and put a Bullitt in there head. In Boyden if they didn't like the Dog.

Judging a dog by its breed is no different than judging a person by the color of their skin.
