This petition is to stop insurance companies from discriminating against three particular breeds of dog. The three breeds that are being attacked by the insurance companies are the Rottweiler, Doberman,and Pit Bulls. These dogs are not malicious by nature. All dogs will attack if provoked or tormented enough. Numerous homeowners have had to give up their dog because the insurance company told them that if they didn\'t they would loose their insurance and if a homeowner was trying to get insurance, the question that was asked is, \"do you have a Rottweiler, Doberman, or Pit Bull\" If the homeowner answered yes, they would be denied. Numerous rescue facilities are diligently trying to place these animals in foster homes. Unfortunately, these facilities are overflowing with these dogs and it is putting a strain on the attempts to place them. Some of these dogs are having to be turned away, which means that they may end up being put to sleep. I don\'t think the insurance companies should be allowed to dictate what we can or can\'t have within the four walls of our homes. After all, any dog will bite if provoked. Please help in the attempt to stop these companies from killing off these three particular breeds.
