In an effort to save money, Gaston County, NC is considering closing 3 schools; York-Chester Middle, Ryhne Elementary, and McAdenville Elementary. Each school is an important part of it's community and are now in danger of being closed down and the children re-routed to other schools in the district. These child will be losing a home and family they have in their school. An influx of students to the other schools will cause possible overcrowding and a huge chance of your children being lost in the system because of it. Children that attend the schools accepting the new students will lose personal attention which could result in poor grades. Teachers will be required to work more due to the larger numbers of students, with no additional pay or resources.
