Little Alex's was a huge help to the Bucket Brigade in 2018. With hundreds of volunteers coming out every Saturday and Sunday for months we needed help feeding everyone and Little Alex's stepped up to the plate.
So sad…they made it through the fire, debris flow and covid - only to be closed down by an out of town developer not understanding the sense of community places like Alex create and support, as well as draw business to the Mart more broadly.
Sad when a property owner that lives in Los Angeles decides that a community favorite just isn’t fancy enough for our community! I have been enjoying the food for 15 plus years, tacos are my fave,,,,, PLEASE LETS KEEP LIL ALEX’S!
Little Alex’s is an institution in Montecito. We took our kids there, still do, and our grandkids. We are heartbroken that they are being forced to close. This is short sighted and reflects a lack of understanding of the community.
Little Alex's....please don't take away this last piece of our home village. It's where our kids got their first jobs. It's where we go for soup when we get a cold. Don't take it away....work with them. You would be our HERO!

Little Alex’s is the very best and Lynette and her staff are fantastic, helpful and caring. The Montecito Country Mart will never be the same and my visits to the Mart will drop off substantially as will my shopping at the other stores!
