She has done this by being friendly and encouraging, warm and caring - not "pushy" like certain other slimming group leaders. She also appreciates that sometimes "life gets in the way" when we've had a bad week and is expert at reassuring us that we can draw a line under it and turn a new leaf for the days ahead.
Jackie loves her Holbrook group - and we love her. Through losing weight, she has helped us to turn our lives around in ways we never dreamed possible, giving us bags more confidence and a zest for life.
She is ALWAYS there for us. Even while on holiday in America recently, she sent us daily messages of encouragement by Facebook and text message.
Weight loss aside, she has become a close friend to us. The group has become increasingly close knit over the past few months and we members help each other in so many ways. One lady suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage recently; another is battling breast cancer. But a problem shared is a problem halved - by sharing our problems with Jackie and the group, we are more able to overcome them.
Tonight, December 12, we were given the sad news that Jackie was to step down from Holbrook to concentrate on her groups in Oakwood. Without going into detail, this was clearly not a decision that she had made herself, nor was happy with. I feel sorry for her replacement drafted in to take over, because there will be very few members left.
Part of the reason for stepping down was about having time to deliver Slimming World leaflets in Holbrook. As the author of this petition, I offer my services free of charge to help with that - and I'm sure many other members of the group will do likewise.
Jackie is due to lead her final Holbrook session on Thursday, December 18. Please sign the petition, which I will then forward to Slimming World head office, and let's get this decision overturned so that she's still there to inspire us all in 2015 and beyond.

From a personal point of view, Jackie has changed my life. I've lost 2st 4lb and feel a new man. I've loved the Slimming World journey but am appalled at this decision. I certainly won't continue if Jackie is made to step down.
Jack I helped me get to goal and to maintain it for 6 months so far which I have never managed before. Please don't make her leave as the Holbrook group will not be the same without her! X

It's a very sad decision. Jackie is an inspiration we will all miss her terribly if the powers that be insist on making this change. Surely there's another solution?

Jackie is a wonderful inspiring lady who makes Coming to group easy not the daughters thought it has been whenI've been to other groups. She is supportive during the week inbetween group even Facebooking while on holiday. Save our Jackie we couldn't and don't want to do it without her.
