The silence from the gym management remains frustrating but it only confirms why we started this fight in the first place. I have been reading the stories left in the comments and it is clear that Jackie and Mark meant a great deal to our community. We are not dropping this until there is an actual conversation about their sudden departure.

Reaching this level of support acknowledges how much Jackie and Mark meant to all of us. The work remains heavy but seeing this response keeps me moving forward.

Mark and Jackie are not gym instructors, they are fitness professionals who motivate and inspire hundreds of people across Centrica. They are also an integral part of the Centrica family and do so much more than their job remit. Losing them, would be detrimental to the well-being of Centrica staff and would upset a lot of people.
I think Mark and Jackie deserve to be treated more fairly, especially after the years of working on behalf of Centrica making the most of their small environment and providing engaging and motivating classes to all. The gym will not be the same without them.
Mark & Jackie great inspiration especially to somebody as myself who is a 'shy gym bunny' they always make me welcome and give me confidence that I can make changes to my fitness levels
What a shame! These two were very supportive and interacted very well with all the 'customers'. If you were not able to go for a time, they inquired as to your health. I have had my induction but the usage seems to have gone to rock bottom. I suggest this is because of the reckless actions of Nuffield.
Mark and Jackie are the heart and soul of the Windsor gym. I would rather have no new machines and no Nuffield than have them gone. It is a great shame that two of the most fantasic and dedicated Centrica employees that I have ever met are being 'run-out' like this, and I am embarrased to be part of a company that would do such a thing.
I have known Mark and Jackie for years. They have made a fairly average gym into a place that people actively want to attend. They have been creative with classes to make the most out of the limited space, and have become friends to everyone who attends the Windsor gym through their open and caring style. In the 10 years I attended the gym at Windsor in I never once heard anyone complain about the service received from the PTs. Not at any point did anyone say they wanted to get rid of the free gym facility in favour of a paid for gym run by a big soulless corporation (Nuffield). In exchange for a few shiny new machines. Not once did anyone ever say Mark and Jackie should leave to make way for a spotty teenager straight out of school to be a PT in the gym (Nuffield's cheap labour policy). So someone at Centrica clearly knew better and decided it would be a great idea to get Nuffield in so everyone could receive a worse deal. Mark and Jackie are the Windsor gym. The way they have been treated is a DISGRACE. Centrica and Nuffield should both hang their heads in shame and sort this mess out as soon as possible. Unfortunately it seems to summarise what Centrica has become - not caring for employees like they once did, and showing people the door at every opportunity. Shame on Centrica and Nuffield. SORT IT OUT!!
I don't even work for Centrica any more, but I was shocked to hear about this. I'd hate for my former fellow colleagues to be denied what was ultimately the best reason to visit the gym: Mark & Jackie were (and area) a true inspiration.

Mark and Jackie are the heart and soul of the gym. They have both provided me a great deal of support over the years. whether its training for and event, overcoming an injury or just motivating me during a work our these guys have been nothing but superb
