San Geronimo is in the process of being bought by TPL, and Marin County. The plan is to close our PUBLIC golf course, potentially by the end of 2017.
San Geronimo Golf course is a public park, welcomes golfers with their dogs, connects the valley with trails for walkers, and has been a responsible steward of the land.
This course has been beautifully maintained and enjoyed by Public, and it would be a shame to close one of the very few Public recreation areas that knit community together, as well as provide jobs for members of our commuinty.
Please sign our petition so we can show the county that we would like to keep our Community Valley Golf Course green, and thriving for public use.

I do not play golf, but enjoyed meals and music in the dining room. The green grass to so beautiful, and now it will become ugly
Golf course is good use of the land
What a travesty that the county believes this is tax dollars well spent.
Another waste of our tax dollars to rewild it that could be put to better use.

Marin's residents and youth deserve a course where the kids can practice their skills and adults can partake in a beautiful setting either walking or in a cart. Will all we have is technology? Such a shame to close this historical course and piece of Marin.
