The council just confirmed the plans for the park are officially cancelled. I am honestly stunned that this worked but it happened because so many of you refused to stay quiet. Let's keep keeping an eye on the space to make sure it stays exactly as it is.

The beautiful and well used Falcon park is at risk of being turned into a 3G astroturf. The local council has not informed people in the area about there plans. We as users of the park want to put our views forward and tell the council that we do not want the development to take place.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people care about the future of Falcon Park just as much as I do. This momentum belongs entirely to the community members who decided that our green space is worth protecting.

I use this park all the time with my family. We live directly opposite to the proposed pitch which will impact the light pollution coming into our house. Greg spaces like this should be preserved and used for local residents instead of being turned into football pitches.

This is a beautiful green space used by slackliners, local families, Dogwalker's, people just needing a quiet place. On weekends there is children's football. To make it an AstroTurf field for single use is short sighted and mean.

This is a precious piece of green space in London and it should be protected so it can continue to be enjoyed by everyone. A fenced off AstroTurf pitch will benefit a much smaller number than the thousands who use and enjoy it the way it is.

I love Falcon Park when I want a short, quiet jog. It as absolute gem. It is already used for football (on REAL grass) and there are sport facilities already just a minute away at Latchmere Leisure Centre and at Battersea Park. It ain't broke. Don't fix it!

This lovely little park is a haven for all who live near, and is used at all times of the day and all months of the year for children, adults, and dog owners. Putting in bright lights and adding to the parking and traffic is untenable for this very special neighbourhood.

I have been using this park for many happy years and do not want the planned football pitch etc to be built. Most of the children using the pitches already in situ are not local - all of the dog walkers, runners, families etc etc are.

Wandsworth council please think again and keep this park as it is. Think of the light pollution this will create.

I objected to the planning application and I object to this again the floodlights will flood into my home on Latchmere road! Light pollution!!
