I really never imagined that so many people would join me in wanting to keep this park open for our kids. Honestly this momentum belongs entirely to the neighbors who took the time to speak up for our green space.

Only Park in that village!!! where are the kids meant to go especially since Colinsburgh is so busy with cars buses etc its not safe to let your children out to play so to lose this park would be a big loss to this community
What on earth are Fife Council playing at. First reducing access to nursery by stopping the nursery bus, now not maintaining and taking away any equipment not meeting safety requirements! We are a rural community with few facilities. We should be encouraging children to use these parks for good health, fitness and well being. It is also a place the mums and tots, school and kids after school. I used it a lot too for my kids when they were younger and as a place to meet other mums and childminders. What a negative impact on our area and hate to think of the future consequences of this money saving action by the council.
Children from the village play in this park and its the only safe place away from the busy roads that run through the town of colinsburgh the council are clearly not thinking about our childrens safety they are only concerned about putting money in their pockets, what would they do if it was one of their kids playing in a park thats being threatened to be closed

Spent many many summers of my childhood in this part with my family and lots of other local children. Leave it be and let there be a safe zone away from the busy road which nobody seems to be doing anything about all the speeders and idoits that hammer through it!!!

My nephews play in this park every day it’s not fair to take it away from the kids it’s the only thing they have there, this is why crime is rising because kids have nothing to do start doing a few bad thing and as they grow up it leads into crime
